| Had the elementary music program this evening. My class could not sit still and be quiet for an hour. At least it's over with now. I took Sky and Sophie to get a shake afterward.
I saw some birds at school today: brown thrasher, red-winged blackbird, and mockingbird. Last night I saw a blue grosbeak.
I exercised for 20 minutes this evening.
I finished the last book in the Twilight series today. My plan now is to read my last Jane Austen book: Mansfield Park and I'd like to read The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. I'd like to read some Nicholas Sparks books next.
Can't wait for these last 7 school days to pass and for summer break to begin! Hoping for an easier year next year.

consider abortion, not the vote, to be the cornerstone of women's equality. The women who struggled so
tenaciously to secure the rights of women were also steadfast in their
defense of the rights of all human beings, including the unborn. They
realized that all human rights are inextricably entwined, and that rights
can survive only in an atmosphere of responsibility. They considered
the practice of abortion to be a paradigm of society's failure to recognize
both the rights of children and the responsibilities of adults..."
